They like to get dressed up for TV appearances to educate viewers on the ins and outs of Real Estate and dress down and get dirty while they volunteer for HabiJax of Humanity and Helping Hands Day.
Sabrina Wickham was encouraged to get into real estate by a top producing Watson Real Estate agent in 2003. Her son Justin followed in her footsteps at the ripe age of 20 and in 2009 they created the Get Smart Team. Both Sabrina and Justin embody the entrepreneurial spirit. With 31+ combined years of Real Estate knowledge, the advantage of growing up in the area and their creative marketing strategies, this team knows how to be professional and have fun.
Sabrina and Justin know that the decision to purchase or sell a home is as important as deciding who to use as your professional realtor. They are proud of their experience, knowledge of the market, systems and options available and love working with first time home buyers by educating them on programs like The Florida Bond which provides down payment and closing costs assistance, as well as consulting them on unfamiliar processes. With the main philosophy of their business being to always work for their customers in their best interests, Sabrina and Justin believe that high pressure selling tactics do not belong in Real Estate. They prefer to educate their customers so they are able to make the best decision for their situation.
The Get Smart Team loves to have fun and think outside of the box. One way they do this is with their Real Estate rap music videos they create and upload on their YouTube Channel. They feel they can be professional and serious without being dull and are able to bring laughter into a large, stressful decision. When showing property on vacant homes, the team always knocks on the door. Customers often ask why since the property is supposed to be vacant. Justin then tells them a story about Sabrina showing a listing that was vacant. No one was supposed to be there, but the brother-in-law happened to come into town that week without letting them know he was staying in the home. Sabrina opened the door just as he was walking out of the shower nude. He screamed, she screamed and needless to say, they now always knock on the door even if the home is supposedly vacant.
